Please join members of the DC Rotary Club at Write Lunch with Free Minds. Following Wednesday's lunch, we will gather alongside Free Minds Poet Ambassadors home from prison to provide feedback on the writing of Book Club members still incarcerated. It is a simple and powerful way to support members' processes of self-awareness and change, as well as read great writing. We look forward to having you join us.

Free minds uses books, creative writing, and peer support to awaken incarcerated and formerly incarcerated youths and adults to their own potential. Through creative expression, job readiness training, and violence prevention outreach, these poets achieve their education and career goals, and become powerful voices for change in the community.

The Rotary Foundation of Washington, DC (our Club’s Foundation) has supported this great organization three years in a row with a large $20,000 grant.
