Rotary Day DC To Bring Free Family Fun and Volunteer Awareness to Washington, DC
Open to the community, this fun festival showcases Rotary and its local non-profit partners
The Rotary Clubs of the District of Columbia announced today Rotary Day DC, a community-connecting event for all metro-DC residents, highlighting Rotary’s local non-profit partners with special appearances from the Washington Nationals Racing Presidents, local celebrities and featuring fun activities for children. Rotary Day DC will take place in Farragut Square in Washington DC on Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 10:00am – 3:00 pm.  Visit for more information.
Rotary Day DC will showcase Rotary’s volunteer opportunities and partner non-profit organizations, including Best Kids, CARECEN (Central American Resource Center), DASH, Disaster Aid USA, Fair Girls, The Family Place, The Inspired Teaching Public Charter School iPad Project, One-World Education, The Salvation Army, WANADA and The Wendt Center for Loss and Healing.
Special guests and local celebrities will be on-site to speak to and interact with attendees. There will be free books, including illustrated storybooks and Spanish-English dictionaries, available to children while supplies last, along with entertaining service-facing activities, storytelling, and athletic and sporting demonstrations.
