What a meeting! At our October 3rd meeting, we did things a little differently than usual. President Lisa McCurdy greeted our guests and we hosted an open house for our 2018 Community Service Grant recipient organizations. Fifteen non-profit organizations joined Rotarians and guests to share the progress of the projects funded by the #DCRotaryClub through our Rotary Foundation of Washington, DC, issues addressed by the organizations’ missions, and upcoming events and service projects for which our #DCRotaryClub members can volunteer.

Feedback has been great. We’ll likely host another in the spring! Rotarians loved engaging with the organizations and the grantees appreciated meeting our members and having a platform to report progress.
