On Saturday, May 18, 2019, #DCRotaryClub member, Max Salas, opened his lovely home, providing the perfect venue for the DC Rotary Club to congratulate the Rotaract Club of Washington, DC on 25 years of service to the community. Rotaract Club members are young adult leaders in the #Rotary family.

President Lisa’s message in our Club newsletter last week speaks to the joy we’ve felt as the first Rotaract Club we chartered has blossomed over the years, and highlights our continued partnership!

This month, we celebrate the Rotaract Club of Washington, D.C.’s 25 years of service to the community! Our Club is proud to have charted this community-based Rotaract Club more than two decades ago, and we’ve been enriched by the partnership over the years!

💫🎉
Isn’t it fitting that we celebrate the vibrancy and commitment of the D.C. Rotaract Club in May, Rotary Youth Service Month? Our youth leaders fuel our Club and community with the energy and inspiration to take our Rotary family to the next level, and to solve the challenges we face with new solutions.
💫🎉
We asked, “What will inspire you to continue your commitment to service by joining our Rotary Club when the time comes?” We learned that Rotaractors want to connect with mentors, seasoned professionals at the top of their careers and retirees with connections who can serve as mentors. They’re looking for a Club that not only has resources, but also has a rich calendar of hands-on volunteer opportunities. Just as important, they’d like the opportunity to continue to serve in leadership roles and be welcome to share their ideas and vision.
💫🎉
Rotarians, learn how to connect with our Rotaractors! Reach out to our very own Rotarian Marilyn Cruz, former President of the Rotaract Club of Washington, D.C., and now one of our Club’s most innovative leaders.
