Senior Operations Officer, World Bank Group

Members of the Washington, DC Rotaract Club will lead our weekly lunch meeting. They will share with Rotarians the highlights of their service, professional development and fellowship activities, and explore potential areas of further collaboration with our club.

The Rotaract Club has asked Wilson Frota, Senior Operations Officer at the World Bank Group, to speak to the Club. Wilson is a Brazilian national and has been living in the US for about 10 years. He has over 20 years of experience in the international public sector and private sector, mostly in Latin America and the Unites States. During his career, he specialized in international development and human capital development, and has significant experience with youth engagement in corporate settings. Before Joining the World Bank he was the Vice-president for Human Resources for the Caribbean and Central America regions with Citigroup’s Corporate & Investment Bank. Wilson holds an undergraduate degree in Economics and an MBA in Organizational Development, both from the Catholic University in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and a Master’s Degree in International Relations from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
