Panel on Bonsai Trees
Based in Washington, DC but always ready to travel with camera in tow, Mr. Voss is an editorial photographer. He has spent the last decade producing great images for magazines and organizations; his clients include BusinessWeek, National Public Radio, The New York Times Magazine, Outside, Time and Wired. He received the Creative Visions Foundation Grant to document homelessness in Portland, Oregon, with his photos featured in a national exhibit that is touring the country. His documentary work covers US politics, environmental issues and globalization’s impact worldwide. He is presently working on a project about the intersection of development and the environment in New Jersey, his native state. Mr. Voss has photographed bonsai trees, with his images recently on view at the Japan Information and Cultural Center. He has produced the book In Training: a book of Bonsai photographs.
