Anna Karenina is a bold, theatrical new vision of the epic story of love, stirringly adapted from Leo Tolstoy's great novel by Academy Award winner Tom Stoppard (Shakespeare in Love) and by acclaimed director Joe Wright.

Called “ingeniuous and  intoxicating” by Anne Hornaday, Washington Post, she describes the film as an “exquisite production”  which “brilliantly re-imagine[s] ... the author’s dense tale of love, adultery, politics and aristocratic manners”….in late 19th century Imperial Russia.  “Like the masterpiece that inspired it, ‘Anna Karenina’ poses some of life’s toughest questions -- about how to be good, how to be bad and the costs of both -- but with nuance and sensuousness that make even its most profound truths levitate on flights of soaring imagination and pure poetry.”

The film marks the third collaboration of the director Wright with Academy Award-nominated actress Keira Knightley, following their award-winning hits Pride & Prejudice and Atonement.  Also starring Jude Law, Matthew Macfadyen, Kelly Macdonald and Olivia Williams.                                                                                                  Run Time:  2hrs 9mins
